- Added a preference to the Highlighting tab to allow the Green and Red colors to be changed in order to accomodate color blind people.
- Improved international stocks by allowing exceptions to be entered on the Chart screen for differences in symbols used by different web sites.
- Version 2.3.1 beta 1, August 9, 2008
- Fixed a problem in which international stocks were not updated regularly.
- Version 2.3.0 beta 1, July 6, 2008
- This is a "final candidate", please report any bugs ASAP so that this can be released to everyone.
- There are a couple of major new features in the Navigator.
- Columns are added that show the % change for the Day, Week, Month, Quarter, and Year. You can quickly see what happened to the S&P 500, or any other WatchList by looking at these columns. These statistics now apply to both the groups and the individual files.
- You can double-click on these columns to sort the Navigator by that category. In particular, see the the "Sectors" tab, and sort the best performing sectors to the top.
- A Sectors tab is added that tracks sectors and industry groups.
- You can now double click on an information category in the table in the Charts View and sort by that category.
- A special feature was added for international stocks. Different websites, such as Yahoo and MSN, use different symbols for international stocks. Stock WatchTower attempts to convert these automatically, but there are some exceptions. You can now specify these exceptions by going the the Chart View and clicking on the tab for the particular website, such as MSN. There is a field in which you can change the symbol used for that particular stock.
- Version 2.2.2 beta 2, May 7, 2008
- WatchLists are cleaned to remove any empty symbols. This occurred previously with the Industry Group automatic WatchLists and led to many error messages. These incorrect symbols are now removed from the WatchLists
